We bought the console shelf for the front entry. Although it had some defects, overall, it is a beautiful piece. The manufacturer did compensate us 15% for the defects and I was able to fix them myself. It helps that the top is rustic and I was able to hide the marks. Pics are included. The shelving is solid wood and the frame has a modern black finish that works beautifully with the wood. For the price it is worth it. The assembly was a little difficult with getting the screws to go for the second and third shelf, while trying to hold the pieces in place to line up the holes. The holes are very tight fitting, so a couple of screws almost didn't go in. I was on the floor using my all my limbs to do get this thing together. I had a ratchet allen wrench to do this assembly, if not, it wouldn't have worked out. I can understand why some people gave up. Forget trying to use the allen wrench that comes with it. It's very sturdy once together. There were two tiny chips off of the paint on one piece, but I can fix that. Overall, it works perfectly for displaying my pottery, so I like it.. Lucia. I love it!! Thank God, they provided extra screws. There were 2 that were never separated. Somehow, they managed to get stuck to each other. But it is fairly easy to put together and as you can see, it looks nice. The only thing I dont care for about these are the sticker numbers.
