I ordered the 50in linear electric fireplace for my bedroom and I love it. This is the second electric fireplace I have gotten and the other one I got was by a different brand and while I really like it, I like this one even more for its very subtle controls. I had to really zoom in so you can see them. From standing height you cannot see the switch and you cannot see the blacked out controls on the face of the fireplace. Although we’ve only had this for two weeks, it seems to be a very good product. Well-constructed. Solid. We installed on a brick wall so a hammer drill made the process much easier. My only reason for four stars instead of 5 is that the instructions are a bit lacking, especially in figuring exactly which hanger mounting holes make the best sense to utilize given the TV’s size and the location of outlets. Our power outlet was toward the bottom of the TV so we had to mount the brackets “not too high and not too low” on the back or the TV in order to block the outlet from view yet allow enough clearance over our mantel for decorations. I was looking for something cool to do on this wall to make it like a feature in our living room. When I found this recessed wall mounted electric fireplace. I was super excited. I thought this would be the perfect thing to make that wall a feature. I have an appointment with our contractor next week to get this officially installed in the wall. Putting it together was very easy. It came with everything you need except for a screwdriver, you take out 2 screws to place all of your crystals and wood. You can really place them however you want, which I thought was cool. It comes with a remote, which is awesome. This thing changes to so many colors. It is so cool you can make your flame any color and the lights under the rocks any color. I really like the different color combinations. And this thing actually puts out heat perfect for those chilly nights in the fall in winter. The colors are super bright and bold. I was not expecting it to be such high-quality. My contractor says the installation will be a breeze. He suggested placing it eye level when sitting to make it a focal point. This fireplace is gorgeous and I highly recommend it.
