It pours very well provided you open the spout when pouring, and I only say this because too many people don’t actually know how to use a whistling tea kettle! Honestly, some people should not be allowed to write reviews if they don’t understand how to use the simplest of products!! I like it a lot but the whistle is not something I expected. It hummms so if you are in another room or the TV is on, you’ll likely won’t hear it so make sure you pay attention .
