Beautiful piece! Looks even nicer in person. I paid for subcontractors off Angi's list, through Wayfair, to handle the assembly. That went well. Very nice men who were efficient and kind. They had it assembled in 2 1/2 hours and it would have taken me at least a full day. You pay extra for this and it is worth the fee. There are three areas on the piece that need to be replaced by Wayfair (contacting them tomorrow). A door that is warped and does not match up with the door next to it, a flaw in the center main door, and a door that does not soft close as it should. The soft close feature is so nice on all the other doors and drawers. The handles are beautiful and nicely made. The color of the armoire is gorgeous. Third one of these that I have purchased. I found them easy to assemble, and they have a sturdy structure - love that they are solid wood (except for the backing). Have stained all with Minwax wood finish oil-based ‘Colonial Maple’ Semi-transparent interior stain. They look great ! Though the boxes had encountered some bumps and bruises, the contents within each of my shipments remained safe from harm - I would attribute that to the solid packaging. I am putting them together by myself (directions say it needs 2 people) but I was able to assemble the 1st one no problem. The wardrobe is very sturdy when assembled. I have the first one all put together and need to put the drawers and doors on the second one. I am very happy with the color! I may replace the gold knobs if I find some more whimsical ones, but this will help eliminate the 2 portable clothes racks that have graced my bedroom since I bought this old house! We received this around the 16th but decided (after seeing the 26 page book) to come back and pay a pro. Best decision ever! He was finished in 1 & 1/2 hours! (It had one deep scratch on the top but unless you're on a step stool or very tall, you won't notice), otherwise it's beautiful and the white matches our new bed perfectly! I did add a motion sensor light to each side and will probably add a few more under the shelves. (The strong smell others have mentioned was there ... until we turned our air purifier on (directly in front of the wardrobe) for several hours.) Love it!
