Bought it place along the baseboard of the long hallway, so I can see the floor in the dark. I keep the remote in the LR, I bought the compatible wall mounted touch pad for the end of the hallway to turn it off. Better than turning on the overhead light, and I don't have to get up, turn on light, then go back to LR or kitchen to turn off lights in those rooms. I use them in my powder room since I don’t have a overhead light love that they come on when you walk around, and if they don’t turn on during the daylight.
