These lights were the perfect finishing touch for my bookcase. They are small enough to blend in without taking away from the décor, but they provide just enough light to make each shelf feel warm and inviting. because you can set a timer or turn them off without having to reach behind the bookcase. The biggest bonus is that they came with batteries, so I was able to use them right away. They really elevated the overall look of the bookcase and made it feel much more finished. these lights were exactly what i was looking for. they are small, low profile and provide a LOT of light. i was wary about getting puck lights b/c i wasn't sure if they would give a spotlight effect on the counters or not. they give off a nice even diffused light. We got the 2700k and it's a beautiful warm light. note, you MUST buy a power supply for this if you don't have one. Call Wayfair or Kichner support, they will be very helpful. We got the one from kichner it was a dimmer with the transformer built in and when this thing is dimmed all the way down, it's still pretty bright. meaning when i turn them up they light up my counters perfectly. my one worry is i don't know how long they will last and if i should keep a spare around. i hope they last as long as led lights are supposed to. but 1 week in, i'm thrilled..
