Natural Jute Runner Rug Base Layer

This rustic seagrass rug brings organic style to your living room, bedroom, or home office. It’s made of the power loom and constructed of seagrass in a basketweave design, with a beige fabric border and a felt backing. This rug has a medium pile; we love how it’s so easy to vacuum. We recommend a rug pad underneath for added comfort and stability. This area rug is for indoor use only and completes the look of your farmhouse, cottage, or beach house.

Great neutral rug for a coastal feel. The only reason it got four stars is is not very comfortable on your feet. Other than that, a perfect fit! The variation in color throughout the rattan is helpful to integrate lights and darks in the same room. Kim nicely packaged and protected, and it was easy to roll out. Would highly recommend.. Think coastal living and casual beach house style with rugs so classic they'll even work in the city. Kiki 's natural fiber rugs are soft underfoot, textural, natural in color and woven of sustainably-harvested sisal and sea grass, or biodegradable jute fibers twice-washed for unrivaled softness and beauty.

The runner is very heavy and stays perfectly in place without needing any rug pad or grip underneath. The color is beautiful and the quality feels excellent. I’ll have to see how it holds up with regular use and whether it starts shedding or pulling fibers, but so far I’m very impressed.. Anonymous. Sun Sep 20 2026

This rug has kept up extremely well in my house. I purchased this rug a couple of hears ago to effectively cover 95% of my floor. We've since moved and the rug looks even better in our new place. There are a couple of places where the end of braid has popped through, but for me, I didn't really find it to be unappealing. It looks like natural wear and feel of the carpet.. Jessica.
