We were having such a hard time finding a white and gray, marble-look, herringbone tile that wasn't tiny (1x3") or big, subway tile size, to do an accent wall behind a pedestal sink in our powder room. This was PERFECT. I so appreciated that you can order a sample! Once we decided it was the way to go and ordered the three boxes of tile, it arrived in just under a week and in perfect condition, with lots of protective bubble wrap and packing peanuts. This tile is incredible! I went to 3 local tile stores and they didn’t have anything I was looking for, so glad I took a risk and got this. Very well packaged, only a few had tiny chips in them and about seven of the sets roughly one box worth had ones that had some defects but my installer use those on the sides so we didn’t use the defected ones. The beauty and mercurial nature of this product makes it one of the most sought-after and utilized marble stones. Calacatta bridges modern and classic design and that line of thought went into the design of mosaics. The contrast between the gray veining and undertones on a field of white emits a timeless charm. This was a bit more difficult to review since tastes and preferences vary. The tile came extremely well packaged. The actual tile box was wrapped in about 10 ft of bubble wrap. And then it was packaged in another box filled with packing peanuts. I did not find a chipped or cracked tile in the lot. The tile quality is as expected. However, the actual pattern was not to my liking. The sheen is more matte. It has more browngold than what works in my space. And honestly, it looks a bit “cheap”. I have seen other porcelain tiles that are a much better imitation of marble. That being said, again, it is just my opinion. Someone else will likely feel differently.
