Stupid cage for Stupid Parrots My birds, fairly intelligent, will be out of this in two seconds without extra locks, but that isn’t the deal breaker. There are Diagrams but no directions, no labels and an address for a video that didn’t play. Over all quality is not horrible, but one door hinge is broken and I had to use a mallet and a tiny crowbar tool to force a couple of pieces together. I’ve had parrots for 30 years and am experienced at putting cages together. This has been my worst experience. Before I would do it again, I would submit to an extra month of chemo, do my sister’s taxes and give up my left kidney. I did finally finish it by using zip ties to hold pieces loosely together and getting extra tools pictured to tap, whack, bend and pry. I didn’t pay for a high end cage, but adequate directions shouldn’t be too much to ask. UPDATE: I had to move the cage to another house. Disassembly must have bent other parts. Such a cute cage! Perfect for what we needed. Fits nicely into a corner of any room. Fairly easy to assemble. Main lock broke within only a couple of days of use so that was disappointing. Overall it’s a decent cage. It’s attractive, and I believe my Senegal Parrot (Zazoo) will enjoy it. We are moving to a new house in a different city and hour away. I currently have a high end powder coat cage that has much thicker bars and overall heavier construction. Zazoo turns 25 this year, and we wanted a more affordable cage incase he is near the end of his lifespan. We hope he’ll like his new home. The cage was well-packed and the only damage was to one of the sliding pans. It was dented and chipped, but I’m not concerned. This is a very large cage. It was time consuming putting together but well worth it in the end. The directions were clear and easy to follow. This cage is large and durable. Assembly was a bit complicated as a few pieces were mislabeled, but after process of elimination I was able to figure it out. You’ll definitely need someone to help you with the way the screws and nuts are placed. For a bird cage it’s different in the sense that it’s a chicken wire pattern rather than vertical bars, and it doesn’t have built in food and water doors. Overall, it’s a fairly decent cage..
