I am extremely happy with this iron pipe wall mount shelving system. The design is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for—very sturdy, industrial farmhouse style with clean lines that instantly elevates the space. The black iron piping feels heavy-duty and well-made, not flimsy at all, and once mounted properly, it feels very secure and strong. Assembly was straightforward and well worth the effort. All the metal components fit together nicely, and the mounting points lined up perfectly. I appreciate that this system allows flexibility in choosing your own wood shelves, which lets you customize the look to match your home. I used solid wood boards, and the final result looks high-end and custom-built. One very important thing to note (and not a negative—just something buyers should be aware of) the wooden shelves are NOT included. You will need to purchase or cut your own boards separately. This actually ended up being a positive for me because I was able to select the exact wood tone, thickness, and finish I wanted. However, if you’re expecting an all-in-one kit, keep this in mind before ordering. Once installed, the shelves hold a great amount of weight and are perfect for decor, books, plants, and storage. The overall aesthetic is timeless and works beautifully in farmhouse, industrial, or modern spaces. For the price, the quality is excellent, and the finished look rivals much more expensive custom shelving. I bought this to match my towel racks, but the diameter of the round brackets is slightly smaller than that of the towel racks - they are less "beefy," too. That doesn't make sense to me - it almost looks like two different sets of product. They're not quite as textured as the ones on the towel racks either. I'm not usually "matchy-matchy," but if any bracket should be larger, I think it would be the shelf/towel holder bracket instead, as it probably holds more weight. The glass for the shelf is a beautiful - substantial - piece. When I opened the package, however, the glass was screwed onto the shelf. This is not the ideal way to package, and I suspect other people get shelves with broken or cracked glass. There actually was a tiny chip on the glass where the bolt caps fit - fortunately, this is hidden by the bolt cap itself. I followed the directions and washed the protective oil off of the metal brackets (warm water and dish soap), let them dry completely, and then sealed with clear polyurethane.
