I have a ceiling fan light that's still going strong after 13 years -- except for the remote. No amount of cleaning or new batteries would resuscitate it. I found this one a year ago that doesn't say it's for my fan but was the identical shape and color. Problem solved! I didn't even need to change the pin settings, just insert the batteries and I was good to go. Just note that the "Delay Off" button in the lower left corner (where my original dimmer button was located) works my light dimmer). I ignore the text and everything works as the old one did. I ordered 2 of these ceiling fan controls, which arrived damage free, in a timely manner. It was easy to pop out the old controls and install these using my existing wiring. My only complaint is that these say ‘HUNTER’ across the front of the knob, which I didn’t notice in the photos.
