They are bigger than regular king size. But I think it is to accommodate those overfilled pillows. Good buy

These are softer and thicker than I thought they would be. Very nice quality. I still put a regular pillow case over my pillows so I'm not sure it makes my pillow any softer to lay on, but, alone, very nice.
