Christmas Tree and Nativity Banner

Shaped like a Christmas tree, this arpillería ornament is a joyous representation of the nativity scene. The tree is crowned by the star of Bethlehem while the Three Wise Men travel on a winding path to reach the holy family, who is protected by Gabriel Archangel. Leonor Quispe sews and embroiders the appliqué composition by hand, crafting the characters with three-dimensional artistry.
