For many Americans, model trains evoked sentimental feelings similar to the other emotions associated with Christmas. Christmas was a time when many people traveled long distances to reach home or to see relatives. Most of these journeys would involve a train ride. Likewise, the nation's railroads were a primary means of transporting packages around the country at Christmas time. Our Christmas Train Model is beautifully handmade out of the tin and painted in red. It features many intricate details such as rolling spoke wheels, chimney, chain, belt, detachable caboose, engine, headlights, fuel tank, and much more. With Christmas just around the corner, this model will make a perfect gift for your loved one or any train enthusiasts.
