The Spectrum Hudson Fruit Tree pairs a flat wire fruit basket with a banana hook in one countertop piece. It stands 16 inches high on a 9.5 by 9.5 inch footprint. The hook keeps banana bunches suspended above the counter. That prevents bruising where fruit would rest on a hard surface. Hanging also lets air reach the bananas on all sides for more even ripening. The open basket below holds apples, oranges, pears, and lemons. Flat wire construction keeps air moving around that produce too. When bananas are not in rotation, the hook holds grapes, vine tomatoes, or a dish towel.
