This beautiful round wood slab is made from Monkeypod wood, also known as Acacia or Raintree. It is a hardwood that is rot resistant, making it great for outdoor projects. It also makes a wonderful and unique centerpiece, charcuterie board or other indoor decoration. Monkeypod has a fantastic mixture of straight and curvy grain, making it a very popular wood to use for many different projects. NOT CERTIFIED AS FOOD SAFE. If you would like to use this as a serving tray, please put a barrier, like parchment paper or cloth over the wood. This slab of wood comes in varying sizes and shapes. Each piece will be a different shape. We cannot guarantee any specific size or shape. The average size of each piece ranges from 12” W to 17” long. Height varies from 1” to 1.25”.
