Designed for small cakes or petits fours. Mouth-blown by skilled glassblowers to create a classic cake stand with a dome. The foot of the cakestand is shaped and applied by hand to the drawn stem while the glass is still malleable. The oval knob on the dome is shaped from molten glass and applied by hand. The rims of both are melted under a flame to achieve a soft, rounded finish.
