Plate and spreader arrive together, which is the whole reason this is a favorite gifting item for the year. The matching spreader is trimmed in holly berries, so the knife is as painted as the plate it rests on. The Ryanne Square Plate w/ Spreader belongs to VIETRI's signature holiday collection, hand painted in Italy on Terra Bianca, a white earthenware clay chosen because it lets color come to life, and it comes packaged in VIETRI's branded gift box. Set it out with a wheel of cheese, use it for butter at the dinner table, or put out jam and bread at breakfast and let the morning run long. Dishwasher and microwave safe, it goes back into the rotation without ceremony, which is the point of a hand painted piece you actually use.
