Some desserts deserve a stage. The Sur La Table Kitchen Essentials Dot and Dine White Cake Stand raises a layer cake, cheesecake or tart off the table, turning it into the centerpiece of a birthday, shower or holiday spread. The 11-inch pedestal stand is made from stoneware with a white reactive glaze over a beaded design, so it brings texture and a subtle variation in tone to a simple white table. It isn't just for cake: use it to display cupcakes, cookies, pastries or a stack of donuts at brunch, or set out cheeses and fruit to give a buffet some height. Hand washing is recommended to keep it looking its best. It coordinates with the rest of the Dot and Dine collection, including the pie dish and ramekins, and makes a lovely gift for bakers and hosts. Built on the same hands-on approach Sur La Table has been teaching in its cooking classes across the country for over 50 years, Sur La Table Kitchen Essentials is the complete kitchen toolkit for preparing daily, delicious meals at home. It delivers dependable performance and thoughtful design at an exceptional value, accessible to everyone from the curious home cook to the seasoned pro.
