This circular rubber mat is made from a combination of vulcanized and natural rubber materials. Since both raw ingredients are of the highest quality, this rubber mat will exhibit excellent durability when used indoors or outdoors. Being a vulcanized (vulcanization is a process of cross-linking rubber molecules chemically) rubber product, this rubber mat will not shed or crumb up. It is a one-piece molded circular rubber floor mat. This rubber mat is 6mm thick (just under 1/4-inch which is 6.4mm). The diameter of the rubber mat is 4.5 feet or 54-inches.
This is a low maintenance product that is very easy to clean with most household tools and cleaning agents. For best results, simply use a wet cloth or mop along with simple commercial cleaning soap. Please do not use caustic cleaning agents such as bleach.
This round rubber mat is engineered from elastic and flexible rubber materials. It is an impact absorption mat. With our rubber products’ impact absorption properties, the rubber mat will absorb enough of the shock from a collision that any parts dropped on the surface should be protected from damage. In addition, creeping and vibrating machinery will not damage your subfloors as they drag on the floor surface.
In general, rubber is the superior choice for outdoor use when compared to other materials. Especially when the rubber mat is from natural rubber materials. While wood rots and splinters in the rain, rubber mats can withstand severe weather conditions, even snow. In addition, rubber will resist UV light and is durable, watertight, and fade resistant.
This rubber mat is waterproof and when moisture or liquids are left on the surface, they will not get through to the bottom. This will protect your subfloors from the damaging effects of water. On hardwood floors, excess moisture can cause a host of problems such as warping, discoloration, or even rot. This rubber mat is an affordable way to protect your precious investments.
