Imagine the Monterrey Elegant loveseat as the backdrop to your best evenings: long conversations, quiet reading, Sunday mornings that stretch a little longer than planned. Rich top grain leather invites you in, and every detail says this piece was made to be lived in, not just looked at.
What makes this leather special?
The leather here is 100% top grain on all sides, real hide from edge to edge, with none of the splits or bonded material found in lower-grade upholstery. Its semi-aniline finish is what gives it that soft-to-the-touch feel, protected by a light wax coating that only grows richer with age. Sourcing only the finest leather cuts keeps the surface looking and feeling consistently premium.
How is this piece constructed?
This loveseat is made to order, meaning your leather isn't cut until you've placed the order, then it's handmade in Mexico by artisans who know the craft. The solid wood frame is hand-built for durability, and expert joinery combined with a webbing support system keeps the whole piece structurally sound for years.
What makes the cushions comfortable and supportive?
Sink into back cushions built from foam, then settle into seat cushions engineered with pocket coils and foam for support that doesn't flatten out over time. A sinuous coil system underneath the seat cushions adds an extra layer of resilience, keeping the loveseat comfortable years down the line.
How should I care for it, and how will it age?
A soft, dry cloth and the occasional dusting are really all this loveseat needs. Left to its own devices, the leather will slowly develop a rich patina, evidence of a life well-lived rather than a flaw. Built the way it is, this is a piece meant to age gracefully and last for years to come.
