Chris Fabregas completed a Master of Fine Arts in photography from Utah State University in 1995. Growing up in the austere and harsh environment of China Lake, California, with its mining outposts and industrial-military structures, influenced his artistic interests. A strong passion for industrial music and performance groups like Survival Research Laboratories further shaped his understanding of integrating industrial dynamics into art forms. As an Assistant Professor of Photography at Utah State University, Chris Fabregas taught various classes, including History of Photography.
