" Perch " by Russell, Kory

Kory Russell, a full-time artist based in Chattanooga, TN, draws inspiration from the simplicity of a child's perspective and a deep appreciation for enduring narratives. His work reflects a love for old things and a rejection of modern concerns for celebrity, aiming to recapture a time when people connected more with neighbors than screens. After a diverse career path, including firefighting, Russell returned to art after a serious injury, now dedicated to creating vibrant pieces that evoke the timeless essence of life.
