With its bold, eye-catching 70s style motif and colours, the pattern of this mat is based on a much earlier design. It is in fact a detail from Arabian, a plate from Owen Jones's ground-breaking design manual The Grammar of Ornament. Published in 1856, the book was a compendium of all the best examples of ornament from different cultures and periods collated by the 19th-century architect and designer. All doormats in Entryways' V&A Collection are available in two sizes––18" by 30" and 24" by 36". Every Entryways mat is designed and crafted to be stylish and functional. Made from the best quality all-natural coir to meet the industry's highest standards of durability, Entryways doormats are hand-stenciled with eco-friendly dyes for long-lasting vibrancy.
