This brass lamp depicts a stunning golden statue of Devi Lakshmi sitting atop an ornate pedestal. The Goddess is dressed in the finest of attires, wearing a crown, and has her arms in Abhaya (fearless) and Varada (blessings) mudra, giving her devotees boons and blessings. The plain golden background of the image creates a halo-like appearance aptly suited to the regal status of the goddess. The statue is further decorated with decorative vines on both sides. The most attractive feature is the simple one-wick lamp at the bottom of the statue which makes it a Lakshmi Villaku. The lamp along with the image of Goddess Lakshmi looks like the most beautiful medium for offering prayers through the light and receiving the deity's blessings.
