The finished card shows tall feathered pink and magenta blooms with pointed, layered petals, paired with open white daisy-style flowers with yellow centers, plus small pale green and blue accent flowers, all gathered on stems tied with a pale blue ribbon bow. The card blank is plain white with a printed Happy Birthday greeting beside the arrangement.
Why this kit: the feathered pink blooms bring a taller, more upright shape than a typical rounded flower head; the white daisy accents and pale blue ribbon lighten the overall palette; the mix of four flower types in one bouquet offers varied coiling and petal-shaping practice.
Kit includes: pre-cut quilling paper strips in the required colors, a quilling tool, glue, a folding board, and illustrated step-by-step instructions. Dimensions: 210 x 290 mm.
The pink and magenta strips are rolled into coils with the quilling tool and pinched into the narrow, pointed petals of the feathered blooms, while white, green, and blue strips are shaped into the smaller accent flowers. All the pieces are glued onto the card blank following the included instructions to build up the mixed bouquet shown on the front.
This is a good project for anyone who enjoys quilling a variety of flower shapes in one card, and the finished piece makes a handmade birthday gift with a soft pink and white color scheme.
