Stitch Spring Awakening: Radiance with this Merejka counted cross-stitch kit a bold, close-up portrait of a ruffled orange and pink parrot tulip in full bloom, its curling petals glowing against a brushy blue-green backdrop. Worked on Zweigart 16-count cappuccino Aida fabric using premium DMC threads in 29 rich shades, the piece is rich in color, texture, and graceful detail.
Why this kit: two chart versions, with and without backstitches, let you pick your preferred level of outline detail; 29 DMC shades capture every ripple and color shift across the petals for a painterly finish; the oversized single-bloom composition makes a bold, gallery-style statement piece.
Kit includes: canvas, DMC threads, John James needles, and a detailed colour chart.
Please note: The pattern is provided in digital format only. No printed paper pattern is included
Counted cross-stitch is worked by following the colour chart and placing each stitch on the gridded Aida fabric with the indicated DMC thread shade. Because two chart versions are included, stitchers can work the design with clean color blocks only or add the backstitch outlines for extra definition around the petals. Work section by section until the tulip is complete, then frame it as a striking piece of floral wall art.
Finished size: 27x27 cm (10.63x10.63 in). This generous square format suits framing as a modern focal point, and makes an elegant handmade gift for flower lovers and needlework enthusiasts who enjoy vibrant, large-scale florals.
