Capture the fresh energy of spring with this Merejka counted cross-stitch kit Springtime Glory. A stone footbridge arches over a flower-lined stream, leading to a cozy thatched cottage tucked among blossoming pink and lilac trees. Worked on Zweigart 16-count ice blue Aida fabric using premium DMC threads in 40 carefully matched shades, this design bursts with the color and vitality of the season.
Why this kit: the blossom-filled trees and flowering stream banks give a huge range of color to work with; 40 DMC shades build soft, painterly light across sky, water, and stonework; two chart versions with and without backstitches let you choose your preferred level of detail.
Kit includes: Zweigart canvas, DMC threads, John James needles, and a colour chart.
Counted cross-stitch is worked by following the colour chart and placing each stitch on the gridded Aida fabric with the indicated DMC thread shade. The backstitch chart adds fine definition to the bridge stonework, cottage windows, and pathway once the coloured stitching is complete. Work section by section until the design is complete, then frame it as a cheerful seasonal display.
Finished size: 30x38 cm (11.81x14.96 in). A joyful project for seasonal stitching and a wonderful handmade gift for anyone who loves the beauty of spring.
