Medallion arrived in great condition; nothing could get through that packaging material. However, the side that attaches to the ceiling was slightly convex. We replaced 3 fixtures at the front of our home - dining room, foyer, and stairwell. The stairwell had a simple bubble light, with no medallion, while the other two had this exact medallion. As we were installing matching chandeliers, we needed matching medallions. I was extremely pleased to find an exact match here. It arrived promptly and was in great condition. This medallion is beautiful - I love how it looks with my chandelier. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that you have to cut out the center yourself.
