This table is a beauty. It's black with a bit of wood grain texture on the top. It fits the space nicely, seats 6 chairs comfortably, and can be used casually. I have it sitting on an 8X10 rug. With the right setting, it can look a bit more formal as well. I love this purchase. I would have given it five stars, 1) but the wood grain textured design is not smooth when wiping the table, it has a bit of snag against the towel and 2) there is a tiny knick on the table that shows the brown wood under the painted top. This table is literally so gorgeous. It’s a super simple design but the elements like the wood pattern on the top of the table really make it stand out. Because it’s so simple, it will go with any style, ours is costal modern and it fit right in. It took us no more than 10 minutes to put together and it is a sturdy piece. We have used it only a couple of days so far but it’s been easy to clean and wipe down and is so solid that it doesn’t budge when my toddler tries to climb on it and push it around like he did our last table.
