Solid Unfinished Front Doors

A Dutch door, also known as a stable door, is a door divided horizontally in such a fashion that the bottom half can remain closed while the top half opens. This design allows for ventilation and light to enter a room while keeping animals or small children safely inside. Traditionally used in barns and stables, Dutch doors have found their way into homes, offering a charming and functional architectural feature. They are ideal for kitchens or rooms adjacent to outdoor spaces, providing a versatile entryway that combines practicality with aesthetic appeal.

First door was damaged, the steel wrap around the edges was crushed into the edge of the door. Customer service was very supportive, they sent a replacement that also had damage along the same edge. The damage wasn't significant I didn't even report it I used bondo wood filler and sanded it and it's good. Since I am painting the door you won't see the small patched area. Happy with the price and initial quality the damage is happening during handling. Robert. DE. Wed Oct 07 2026
