This tile is great but the gris gray dye lot we got had a strong blue / purple undertone compared to the original sample piece. These are 6"x2" Bejmat tiles (150x50x13mm). Bejmat are a particular style of rectangular Glazed Zellige tiles, with slabs cut before firing. These thinner bejmat help reduce the weight for wall applications. Produced by hand in Fez, Morocco, these Moroccan mosaic floor tiles are known the world over. Aqua…..beautiful…..wish they offered samples. I Had to buy a box….absolutely fell in LOVE!!! Then sent the box back and ordered 6 more boxes for my project, so they would all be the same dye lot. I was so excited…..Well, I was sent a completely different tile. Not even close to the stunning color of the actual first box sent to me. Very disappointing nonetheless !
