First door was damaged, the steel wrap around the edges was crushed into the edge of the door. Customer service was very supportive, they sent a replacement that also had damage along the same edge. The damage wasn't significant I didn't even report it I used bondo wood filler and sanded it and it's good. Since I am painting the door you won't see the small patched area. Happy with the price and initial quality the damage is happening during handling. Robert. DE. Wed Oct 07 2026

Your front door is your best defender. It protects you, your family, and your most valuable personal belongings from theft and damage. Furthermore, our doors insulate your home from extreme weather conditions, as well as unwanted animals, insects, and dust from entering. Our doors have several superior features: a single sheet of metal is used in construction. No welded seams are best as these can significantly weaken the structural integrity of the entranceway. Our doors are also more resilient to mechanic damage, such as sledgehammer strikes. The advantage of a single, non-welded door is that it reduces interior internal condensation. Over time, condensation can negatively affect the door mechanisms. Stiffening ribs: these non-visible details add to our door's security. Quality insulation serves to reduce unwanted external noise, as well as protect against extreme heat, and severe cold. Italian hinges combi Arialdo: hacking is often carried out at the side of a door's hinges. A better feature is utilizing hinges with ball bearings and installed anti-cuts.

I was disappointed to find that door does NOT have glass panels, despite the images making it look like it does. Unfortunately I did not realize until after the carpenter installed it. Overall the door is beautiful and well-made, so I am saving myself the trouble and keeping it, but will be disappointed to not have the extra light. The images are misleading and should be amended. The listing does not mention glass panels, but there is also nothing to suggest that there AREN'T glass panels, if that is what you see in the image.. Isabella. Washington, Dc. Tue Apr 20 2021

I love this door. We paid 600 for installation. We were a little disappointed because I thought the glass would let in a little light. Our previous door bought on my light but no privacy. The door has two locks one automatically locks. The other is locked by a key. If you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing door to update your home buy it. ....Update this door is steel so it expand and contracts according to the weather. It cold now so it's hard to put the key in the door and the automatic lock does not lock, so you have to use your key to make sure it locks. There is also a space where cold come to the house. Having more than 85 cumulative years of experience building, designing and engineering wood doors are excited to introduce three very important features. Our doors have been tested and approved to meet a design pressure (DP) rating of 45. In order to qualify for a DP 45 rating, our doors were subjected to extreme testing conditions that simulate hurricane-force winds up to 150 mph. Our doors also qualify for TDI (Texas Department of Insurance). Door Jamb is constructed of a paintable hard polymer shell with an interior close cellular structure that prevents water absorption while offering 2 times the screw holding strength than wood. Steel ball-bearing hinges were applied. Prefinished at our factory allows us to finish all edges of the panels, rails, and styles prior to assembly of the doors. This is extremely important for long life of the doors, minimizing panel issues. Our finish is a 9 step oil-based polyurethane process.
