This valve utilizes a pressure balance mixing cartridge to ensure constant water temperature in response to changes in water pressure (e.g. flushing a toilet). The Two Way Diverter and Trim Kit also comes with a 2-way diverter connection making it easy to select between the shower head and hand shower. The valve also comes equipped with an adjustable Hot Limit Safety Stop to reduce risk of scalding, a Plaster Guard to be used as a guide during installation, and a tub spout optional connection. This shower trim kit comes with a Temptrol Pressure Balancing Mixing valve with the VersaFlex™ Integral Diverter, which allows you to adjust the volume of water coming out of your showerhead. The lever handle on this trim turns in the direction of the hot and cold indicators to adjust the water temperature in your shower. The secondary handle on the cover plate controls the volume of water coming from your showerhead. This assembly comes with everything needed for installation. This shower escutcheon and handle shower trim set is durable and functional and backed by a limited lifetime warranty and our technical support team.

The Symmons ½-inch dual outlet diverter valve enables flow to be diverted to or shared with, two different shower functions, such as a showerhead and a hand shower. The valve is primarily made of brass and bronze and features two discrete positions for dedicated flow and two shared positions. Came without o ring/ gaskets and will take almost 2weeks to get replacements…meanwhile our pool sits without working pump but no one seems to care about that this is a major problem. I asked for info on how to return without original box and was told they would email it ( have not recieved this info) I have done a lot of purchasing from Wayfair..I am extremely frustrated and disappointed in the service.
