Transolid ultra-low linear shower bases are the perfect choice to replace an old tub. They are to accommodate traditional tub sizes and the drain from the wall to line up with an existing tub drain. Made of numerous layers of Transtone, a sheet-molded compound material that is solid throughout the base and is supported by sturdy structural ribs underneath that radiate out from the drain opening. When combined with a thin-set mortar installation, this creates a flex-free, water-tight installation and a foundation that you can count on. The base features an ultra-low threshold that is just a smidgen wider to even accommodate popular farmhouse style barn doors. The surface is scratch, impact, and slip-resistant with a beautiful slate finish for a minimalist look.

This was a beautiful product.. unfortunately we needed a double threshold shower base and had to return it. Wished we could have used it… my contractor also liked it.. Monthakan. Monterey Park, CA. Fri Apr 15 2022

I’m pleased so far with this shower pan. I have not used it yet. NOTE You do need to purchase a Shower Base Drain Cover separately. The cost seems a bit high on the cover. I purchased the one pictured and it fit perfectly!. Tracey. NC. Sun Aug 02 2026

Designed for seamless entry, this curbless SMC shower base offers accessibility without compromising style. Its durable composite structure ensures long-term performance, while the anti-slip textured surface and efficient drainage system provide both safety and comfort. Ideal for modern, barrier-free bathrooms in homes, hotels, and care facilities.

This looks really good, and I am excited to have a one piece shower base so I no longer have to worry about water leakage. One thing I am pretty disappointed about is that the shower base is super slick when wet. We will have to find a way to make it less slippery without changing the way it looks. Overall, I think its really good but have that one item to figure out.. Victoria. Cocoa, FL. Tue Jan 13 2026

Ordered Friday, arrived Monday - VERY fast service. Shower pan was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Design is exactly as we expected and reinforcement on the underside is significantly better than the shower pans from the big box stores that I looked at. Support is very dense so floor should be very solid. I am very happy with this for our new bathroom installation in our basement. Added six months out -- Installation went very well, builder said the quality of the floor pan was great and it looks fantastic! .Attached picture shows the completed shower.. Dave. Looks to be a great product. Transolid needs to improve the packaging. Ours arrived with damage to one corner which fortunately will be hidden once installed and should present no problems in future. The texture which mimics stone, perhaps slate, is fantastic. Like most shower pans, this one gets set in mortar and promises to be quite "solid". Really looking forward to the finished bath.. Dale.
