Really cool little ladder. Perfect for what I wanted with hand rails and something I can tuck in when not in use. It’s even better than I expected, as it’s wide enough I can start my descent facing forward (with my back to the ladder, like I’m going down a set of stairs) and then I can easily turn around on the ladder using the handrails, which makes getting in and out of our loft so much easier.. This is a gorgeous ladder, and well-made. It has hooks at the top and slides smoothly along the rail. It can be extended for use, then stored upright. The natural color is pretty but could be stained if you wanted to. It’s sturdy, even with just one brake locked. The ladder was easy to put together—I recommend loosely fastening all the pieces into place first, then strategically tighten all screws to secure. The rail was also easy to install. The part that attaches to the wall can slide to where you need it, then tightened. We removed one bracket, used a laser level to mark the holes and pre-drill them on the bookshelf, then loosened all the brackets so we could slide them into place to secure. The hardware itself is solid, but the provided screws were cheap. We replaced them with some better screws and had no problems after that. The directions are lacking, but not hard to figure out. The height of the rail is a bit flexible because of the hook mechanism, so that was convenient. (You do need to have a drill bit for getting through the wood itself to install the hooks.). Betsy. Lots of pieces and it took some time to put it together, that being said it seems solid. I will be using it for my attic space so I will only use it a handful of times a year. Not sure how it would hold up using it daily. But I like using this much better than getting my stepladder out every time I go up there. And I like that the ladder comes off the rail to store when not in use.. Melanie. Grahamsville, NY. Sat May 09 2026

I love this step stool- it is rounded and more muted in color than many of the other brands that have a more commercial look to them. It works great, rolls smoothly over our lvp flooring, and it “sits down” when stood on to make for a stable step in the kitchen to reach upper cabinets with ease.. Jacqueline. Plymouth, MN. I knew this item was only the rail system and hardware and that it did not come with the actual ladder. My issue is with how the listing description was presented. The size ordering was wildly confusing leaving me unsure what size to order. I ultimately interpreted it wrong and now the system is too short to use in my library. The wording needs improvement to understand exactly what size you need to order for your specific space. I could not install it but took photos of the equipment that was included.. Raechel.
