American Standard & Hydro Systems Shower Bases & Pans

The slim tiered lip and smooth surface of the rectangular shower base are sure to complement any bathroom fixture.

Seems to be well made. My project was a remodel. The weight of the pan made for a bit of a struggle. Do to the height, I added an extra 3/4 board to take up some of the space to use less mortar. It came with a 2" drain whichwas a pleasant surprise. I did contact the supplier to get the drain location. See photo. You'll have plenty of time for your rough in waiting for the pan to arrive. I ordered the biscuit color. It's nice, just a little lighter than I thought it would be.. Anonymous. Sat Feb 15 2025

Looked everywhere but this was the best quality. Susan. Uxbridge, MA. Sun May 17 2020

Solid and attractive shower base. Only problem with it is the product design. For some reason they offset the front bib to be about 3/8" higher than the base. This requires a massive amount of mortar to hold the base level. It also makes final leveling of the product very challenging, especially if you are retrofitting a pre-existing area like I did.. Ed. I am a contractor. Your 48 hour time window to check products does not work. We have to order building products weeks to months before a project starts. I cannot unbox a large finish product such as a vanity, shower pan, sink until it gets closer to the installation date because we have to move it from our offices to the jobsite. Larger items need to be in the boxes to help us move them to the jobsite. Once there we can inspect them. I lost $150 due to this policy. Changing this to a 30 day full refund would be more realistic for general contractors.. Adam. Mon Nov 18 2024
