This has to be one of the best air conditioners I’ve ever had in my life! I love how it’s not so bulky and takes up half the window. This is really one unique design. Not only is it very fashionable, but what a difference this makes keeping the room cool. I have an older house and it’s hard to keep it cooled down, but this air conditioner makes such a difference. One of the best things I love about this is how quiet it is. You can barely hear this thing running it’s so quiet. I can’t say enough great things about this. The 9,000 BTU mini-split system is a high-efficiency, low-noise solution designed to deliver precise climate control for areas up to 450 sq. ft. Its core utilizes Inverter Technology (17 SEER2) for significant energy savings. Remarkably quiet at just 24 dB, it ensures undisturbed environments. Modern Wi-Fi connectivity via the Smart Life app enables comprehensive remote management. The system provides balanced heating and cooling with a wide temperature range. It ships as a complete installation kit, though professional installation is advised for best results, and includes user-friendly maintenance features for lasting performance.

Relatively sleek looking unit but this requires professional installation which is key! Planning to install in my kids' rooms just in time for the summer. Also, great that this is a split unit that can also heat in the winter - years ago, we had another pump that wouldn't heat if the temp <31 degrees F, making it pointless. This unit on the other hand will operate up to about 5 degrees F. None of this info is easily accessible on the item description. There also is a dehumidifying option as well!. Felicia. Carmel, NY. The LG LW1024RSMX is not only cool...it's SMART! Cool your home from anywhere using LG ThinQ technology to control your air conditioner with your phone or use with Amazon Alexa and Hey Google to have control with the sound of your voice. This quiet unit is ideal for cooling medium rooms up to 450 sq. ft. 3 cooling and fan speeds and a 24 hour timer to allow you to create a cooling schedule and 4-way air deflection lets the flow of air be directed where it's needed most whether cooling, dehumidifying or just circulating air. If there is a power outage, the auto restart feature will automatically turn your unit back on when power is restored. Other features include a remote control, easy window installation kit, slide-out (washable) filter and a check filter alert.

After dealing with a freestanding portable AC for years, it makes sense this LG window unit feels like a big upgrade. Portable units tend to struggle with efficiency and air distribution, and they’re usually noisier and more cumbersome than people expect once the novelty wears off. A well-designed window unit removes a lot of that friction right away. What stands out most in what you’re describing is the combination of ease and control. Installation on modern LG window units is typically much more straightforward than older models, and once it’s seated properly, they tend to feel more “set and forget.” The cooling performance is usually more consistent too, since window units can vent heat more effectively than freestanding setups. That difference alone can make a room feel noticeably more stable in temperature rather than cycling between hot and “sort of cool.” The convenience features are where these newer models really separate themselves from older generations. The remote is no longer just a bonus—it becomes how you actually interact with the unit day to day. And the app control takes it a step further, letting you adjust temperature, modes, and timers without having to be physically near the window. That kind of flexibility is especially useful in bedrooms or larger spaces where you don’t want to keep getting up to tweak settings. Overall, it sounds like you moved from a “good enough” cooling solution to something that actually fits into daily life smoothly—quietly doing its job while giving you more control with less effort.. Our BLACK+DECKER Window Air Conditioner with Inverter Technology is built for high efficiency cooling and energy efficiency in mind. Inverter technology uses a variable speed compressor (rather than a fixed speed) to adjust according to the room temperature. This provides a more consistent temperature and helps save energy while efficiently controlling motor speed. The variable speed compressor automatically adjusts its rotational speed according to the selected temperature. It does not cycle on and off like traditional air conditioners. This also helps to reduce noise. Our ac unit for bedroom comes with a Full Function remote control with LED screen display and Follow Me Function. The follow me feature allows you to use the remote as the thermostat to get temperature readings from where you are instead of the AC unit. This allows more precise temperature readings and improved control for cooling your environment. The control panel on the air conditioner window unit has electronic control with digital display. Our window AC allows adjustable thermostat controls from 60°F (16°C) to 86°F (30°C) with both Fahrenheit and Celsius readouts. Choose between Auto, Cool, Dry and Fan mode operations. Fan mode comes with 4 settings including auto, Low, Med and High fan speeds. Auto mode automatically selects cooling or fan only operation depending on the selected temperature and room temperature. Our inverter air conditioner also features a FLASHCOOL function that provides maximum cooling at high speeds to reach set temperature in the shortest time possible. Timer function helps turn the AC unit on or off automatically from 30 minutes to 24 hours. ECO mode and Sleep function for energy efficient operation. Designed for wooden or vinyl-clad windows from 23” to 36" wide. Washable, removable filter included. Our window ac unit uses R-32 refrigerant. LCDI protected 3-prong 78” power cord. Window installation kit includes accordion-style side panels, foam insulation strips, foam seal weather stripping and hardware. Remote control requires 2 AAA Batteries (not included). 115V, 60 Hz, 8.2 amps. Window AC unit measures 18.98” W x 18.54” D x 13.58” H.

OAC 2000: Built for the Heat, Ready for the Unexpected There’s a reason porches were made. Long summer evenings, slow drinks, good company. But comfort, historically, was dependent on the breeze—that is, until the Equator OAC 2000 rolled into the picture. A weatherized outdoor air conditioner, rugged in form and elegant in function, ready to take on sun-drenched patios, open-air garages, and workshops where heat once ruled unchallenged. With 7000 BTUs of cooling power, a single flexible hose, and IP24-rated waterproof housing, the OAC 2000 doesn’t just cool the space—it conquers it. No complex setup. No permanent installation. Just roll it out, plug it in, and let the day unfold on your terms.

TURBRO Finnmark 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner and Heater, Dehumidifier, 3-Speed Fan, Covers Rooms up to 600 Sq. Ft., Remote and WiFi Control, 7.77 CEER High Efficiency, CSA-Certified

This was much needed for this hot weather we’ve been having. This cools much better than expected and it will freeze you out if you have it in a small room. I love that this is essentially a unit that can be used year round and doesnt require me to put it in storage for half a year. The addition of a heater and a dehumidifier is a smart idea and very appreciated. I can just roll it into which ever room I need it in regardless of the season. The directions are good. You will need to exhaust the AC but everything you need is there for that. I’m not the biggest fan of the clunky exhaust tubing but it is what it is. It’s not bad and works so well I can’t complain. You can connect everything via Wi-Fi and app and change the temps and power from your phone. There’s noise, like a window unit would have, but not quite as loud. The noise doesn’t bother me at all and can actually lull me into sleep, but just wanted to mention it. I love it. Super pleased. Thanks Wayfair! I also wanted to mention that the delivery service dropped this off in my driveway during a tropical storm and semi covered the top with a plastic bag rather than take it another 20 ft to a covered front porch. It got soaked. Thankfully my son was able to get it in for me quickly but it would have been totally ruined from rain and high amts of water flowing down the driveway otherwise. Just wanted wayfair to know this.. Chelsea. Whitehouse, TX. Tue Jul 30 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was pretty easy to install. My window was a little odd but it finally got in just fine. I haven’t gotten the Wi-Fi to work yet but that’s probably more my Wi-Fi than the AC first night using it for like 90° here in Maryland, but it’s doing well in the family room so so far very happy.. This portable ac unit is very heavy, but it’s set on casters that smoothly roll it where you want it. It is very much an “open and go” appliance. I don’t know if it’s enough cooling power for what I’m wanting, but I can say that it does blow cold air. It is not loud.. Amanda. Castroville, TX. Sat Aug 15 2026
