This 14000 BTU window AC delivers efficient cool-only cooling for spaces up to 600-700 sq. ft. It includes 3 fan speeds, a convenient remote for easy control, and supports easy install. Certified Energy Star for low energy use, it runs quietly with an ECO mode, perfect for bedrooms, offices and small areas, providing consistent, quiet cooling while saving energy.

I like the size of it and it looks nice but only problem is that it didn’t come with the metal that goes across to keep it in the window or the acordian window slide things. Anonymous. Sat Jul 11 2026

This U-shaped inverter window AC delivers ultra-quiet 32dB operation by placing the compressor outside while keeping full window light and views. With 12000 BTU (ASHRAE) cooling, ±1°F accuracy, 4 fan speeds and 4-way airflow, it efficiently cools medium to large rooms. The inverter design saves up to 37% energy with a $61 estimated yearly cost. It supports smart app, voice, remote and touch control, offers 6 modes, and fits standard windows with included accessories. Complete with safety locks, timer and washable filter for easy, reliable home cooling.

Quietest air condition ever. I was holding my breath when I ordered this AC for a sliding glass window in our sunroom(about 350 sq ft) that was 19.25" wide (one side). Yes, we had to remove one side of the slider and install a panel above the unit. The AC fit almost perfectly and the install was easy. (They even provide little custom cut foam pieces for the top of the unitbto go between the unit and the side filler pieces). We let it set for 24 hours, as suggested in several text messages. Plugged it in and turned it on. It ran thru it's system check and started cooling. It wasn't a ghastly hot day so the temp in the room was in the mid 80s. Within 10-15 quiet minutes, the sunroom was a very pleasant 80° on it's way to 75°. When I used on a ghastly hot day, the sunporch temp was 94. It took it about 30 min to get room to a tolerable 84 with fan on low. When I increased the fan speed, it got down to 80 quickly. When you turn it on it automatically sets to 75. SO QUIET - both inside and out. The buttons and readout on the front are large and intuitive. I'll keep the instructions handy because any function other than cooling isn't intuitive. So far, all we have used is the AC, and we couldn't be more pleased. My only suggestion would be to make the bridge adjustable like on some of the other AC's that don't have the inverter technology. (We bought this unit specifically because we wanted the newer inverter technology.) It has adjustable "feet" on the outside to hold the AC in place. Because the house has vinyl siding, we put a board between the "feet" and the siding to prevent damage to the siding (especially when the temps drop.) We would buy this unit again without hesitation.. Jana. Louisville, KY. Sun Sep 13 2026

Our BLACK+DECKER Window Air Conditioner with Inverter Technology is built for high efficiency cooling and energy efficiency in mind. Inverter technology uses a variable speed compressor (rather than a fixed speed) to adjust according to the room temperature. This provides a more consistent temperature and helps save energy while efficiently controlling motor speed. The variable speed compressor automatically adjusts its rotational speed according to the selected temperature. It does not cycle on and off like traditional air conditioners. This also helps to reduce noise. Our ac unit for bedroom comes with a Full Function remote control with LED screen display and Follow Me Function. The follow me feature allows you to use the remote as the thermostat to get temperature readings from where you are instead of the AC unit. Our window AC allows adjustable thermostat controls from 60°F (16°C) to 86°F (30°C) with both Fahrenheit and Celsius readouts. Choose between Auto, Cool, Dry and Fan mode operations. Fan mode comes with 4 settings including auto, Low, Med and High fan speeds. Auto mode automatically selects cooling or fan only operation depending on the selected temperature and room temperature. Our inverter air conditioner also features a FLASHCOOL function that provides maximum cooling at high speeds to reach set temperature in the shortest time possible. Timer function helps turn the AC unit on or off automatically from 30 minutes to 24 hours. ECO mode and Sleep function for energy efficient operation. We got this air conditioner and it was missing the installation kit. The company did send another one, but I’m getting emails about a 65 tariff fee to have it shipped. We took the installation kit off of our old air conditioner and used it and so far the air conditioner is working great! It did make a funny noise after the first rain, then it started working fine again. It cools the room better than my old one even turned on a low setting and is fairly quiet. Other than the shipping issue with the installation kit, I am very, very happy with this product.. Holly. US. Fri Jun 12 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this air conditioner in my master bedroom because it used to get really hot at night, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Since installing this unit, the room has become noticeably cooler and much more comfortable. I’ve been sleeping so much better, and I especially love that I don’t have to run the central AC as much, which helps save on electricity. It cools the room quickly, works great, and has made a big difference in my bedroom. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.. Embertt. Sat Aug 15 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I saw mobile AC, I for sure thought that meant it could easily move from room to room without the hassle of being tied to a window. Unfortunately this needs to vent through a window in order to work properly. That might not be a negative for many, but for the tight space we were hoping to use this in (a bedroom), it’s a bit disappointing. As for the actual features. its large size will cool multiple rooms or a very large space quickly. The smart functions are a great bonus! It is heavy and sturdy, making me feel confident this will last a long time. It arrived in a box almost as big as a washing machine! It’s a big machine, with a lot of power! Perfect for the summer heat!. Jena102_3892. Sun May 18 2025

Update finally had an electrician run a 220v line, and I decided to just have a professional do the install (he charged me less since it was already pre-charged and it was a DIY model). It looks GREAT, and it functions perfectly (except the diffuser position and swing function does not work. Unfortunately its already past 30.days, so I need to think of a way to get it fixed (hopefully Wayfair can help with contacting the manufacturer). Its also cools my garage very well (now to properly insullate my garage. I chose the AC Heating System, DIY Friendly 12900 BTU Mini-Split by Albott to be keep my garage cooled for the summer. It arrived safely in two boxes. It comes with both the condenser unit, indoor air handler, remote control, and pre-charged connections. It requires a 15anp 220 volt electrical connection but is also available in 115 volt. Im still awaiting to have an electrician come to install a new 220v outdoor connector, and I also decided to have a professional also install the unit - in spite of it being DIY. Ill update as soon as the happens.. Michael. TX. Sun Jul 19 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was pretty easy to install. My window was a little odd but it finally got in just fine. I haven’t gotten the Wi-Fi to work yet but that’s probably more my Wi-Fi than the AC first night using it for like 90° here in Maryland, but it’s doing well in the family room so so far very happy..
