Installed today to replace another brand that worked well, but we wanted the LG dual inverter that was so highly praised by Consumer Reports. We opted for the version without the Smart features as we simply don’t need them. The new unit is so wonderful as to be almost be unbelievable. I had searched since last spring for a replacement air conditioner. Each time I thought I had found one with the features I needed, it wasn't available or sold out. I ordered one only for it to be delsyed twice and then the shipping date changed to 2027. Therefore having to cancel it. I saw this Black and Decker on labor day sale and as I started to order it. Was delighted to find an open box steal. I am waiting to have my brother or friend install it, as I can no longer lift the weight.. Richard. Clarksburg, WV. Fri Aug 28 2026

Our BLACK+DECKER Window Air Conditioner with Inverter Technology is built for high efficiency cooling and energy efficiency in mind. I am overjoyed this replacement unit seems to work! The temperature hasn't soared yet, so I'll wait until it does to give a proper assessment. At first glance of the packaging though, I felt I was getting a working unit. Box was clean and inside was brand new. There were no dents on the uniot like the first one. I plugged it in and it actuall blew air, unlike the first one. So, so far, so good. Thanks to Rashad @ Customer Service for being so decisive in getting the replacement to me so quickly! Cheers..
