I purchased 27 Oct 2021, and have been very happy with product, in which, I only use distilled water. Issues that make it less than 5 stars: the adhesive that holds the flimsy button panel in place separated on the left-hand side after about a year and won't stick back. And the LightCel UV is insufficient for preventing the eventual growth of Serratia Marcescens (a pink bacteria common in moist environments). However, I've only had to remove the pink film from limited areas of the water bowl a couple of times in the past three years. A more robust UV Lightcell would probably solve the problem.
