The Liljan vanity is beautiful but I had a lot of trouble with it. I am wondering if it was someone's returned article.....first the drawer pull had an entire section where the finish had come off and the stainless steel below was exposed. The vendor sent over a new handle so at least that was good. The once the vanity was installed, I discovered that the bottom drawer was misaligned and jutting out. Since the drawer rails were preinstalled my contractor could not adjust these. Hopefully someone will come and fix the vanity drawer and it will get done, otherwise will be a big problem for me as to now uninstall it, send it back and purchase a new vanity will be very expensive and painful.. Loving this vanity. The finish and materials are beautiful. Very well built and also very heavy. The hardest part of installation was lifting it in place to fit onto the cleats. It is easiest to install as much of your plumbing for the faucets as possible before you put it on the wall as it is difficult to reach inside and up around the sink. I happened to have a hydraulic lift cart which was key to the installation. BEAUTIFUL vanity! Looks AMAZING just like pics but oh the work we did to assemble! If you want a nice pre-assembled vanity this is NOT for you. If you’re a DIY-ER you can handle this because you have to assemble the ENTIRE thing yourself(minus countertop) Quality of material is not great at all and very SHORT shallow 2” tall drawers(that you build yourself) (sink is made of just a thick large tile material so needs to be handled with care and no directions as to best secure sink to base but liquid nails are the route we’re using) but I was looking for a reasonably priced vanity that had drawers and a striking sink and countertop so I got what I paid for and fit my lower budget needs. If you have a tiny bathroom and don’t need much storage this is nice but if you want a higher quality piece look elsewhere. The cabinet is very solid. A bit lighter and more woody-looking than some of the online pictures. I would suggest finishing with a clear varnish to make cleaning easier and it will also add a polish. I love the modern look and floating style. The instructions were subpar, omitting written language in favor of images, arrows, and numbers on the cabinet base instructions. I’m handy with tools and was able to modify a few things to make it work. Firstly, pieces 4-8 have an end with larger holes. These holes go against pieces 1 and 2. I wish the instructions had said that! Second, the hangers did not work in the ore-drilled hole location. I had to move them toward the front of the cabinet and loosen the hanger before screwing them to the cabinet. That was the only way to get the cabinet pulled in close to the wall. Third, I wanted the unit mounted to studs so I added a couple holes in the top strap where the studs were. I hate drywall anchors, especially the cheap ones included in the kit. If you’re going to use drywall anchors, you’re better off using the screw-in type or toggles. Lastly, FYI the drain pipe kit that comes with the sink is 1-1/4” flexible pipe.. Hallie. Raleigh, NC.
