I decided on and purchased this mantle for many reasons. 1) It being a Pearl Mantle let me know it would be made with quality. 2) It’s real wood and not some sort of plastic or pressed board. 3) it’s decorative and accentuates my decor perfectly and 4) the cost wasn’t cheap, but wasn’t unreasonably high! It arrived nicely packed, but I took one star away as it did not come with the 2 inch wood screws needed to do its install! It also did not come with instructions for installation. This meant searching online for instructions and having to go get the screws needed for the install. All that being said, I am still pleased with the mantle as it makes a beautiful addition to my fireplace and living room decor.. Liz J.. Spring Valley, CA. Thu Jun 25 2026

Really great quality. But it’s HEAVY. The weight isn’t listed anywhere in the description, at least not when I purchased it. (I double checked to make sure.) I’m pretty handy, but there’s no way I can install this by myself. I’d also feel a little nervous about my 100 year old fireplace holding all of that weight. It’d probably be fine, but I know I’d be thinking about it. I bought a lighter mantel and installed it no problem. Still trying to figure how how to return this one…. Tv. Sun Sep 13 2026

Surround features the look of rustic stacked stone for a tastefully textured look, while a molded mantel, base, and sides made from manufactured wood round out the design with a traditional touch. As safe as it is stylish

I put this together myself and was happy with the instructions and the tools provided. EASY! I got this to cover an existing gas fireplace that is so lame. I put my existing electric Duraflame logs behind it and it turned out better than expected. The LED light just takes the cake....ha. do people even say that anymore.... Celeste Ramjet. Middlton, ID.
