Villa Lagoon Tile's cement tiles are hand-crafted by master artisans using a process over 150 years old. The low-energy non-fired decorative tiles are produced from cement, mineral pigments, ground marble dust, and sand, then pressed and cured to produce one of the most beautiful surfaces on the market. The hand-made nature of cement tile means that no two tiles are alike, with color and pattern variations that give it a beauty similar to natural stone and hardwood surfaces. With proper sealant and care, cement tile makes a great durable surface for residential or commercial floors, walls, and creative uses indoors and outdoors. Note: Cement tiles need to be sealed once or twice, before grouting and general usage.

I did extensive comparison shopping, and these tiles matched the quality of options priced at nearly twice as much, many of which also charged shipping that rivaled the cost of the tiles themselves. Woven together into a perfect fit, the fabric inspired look of Fashion Show is an off-the-runway hit.

I like to find unusual materials for my decorating projects, and I fell in love with these tiles on sight. The 2x6 size was a little pricy for me, so I created a design incorporating the 2x6 with the 12x24 and a contrasting 24 bullnose trim. Absolutely love the look. The grass color is more of a sage than a true green, not bright but beautiful and understated, especially with the matte linen texture. Be aware that these are porcelain and extremely hard to drill into. If you want to hang accessories for towels or TP, I recommend the following Mark the spot and cover with clear packing tape. Use a glass tile spade-type bit just to pierce the surface. Then use a concrete bit larger than the hole you need just to make a divot (the initial pierce will keep the bit from wandering). Finally, put a diamond bit into the divot and drill all the way through. Trust me, you will need that diamond bit - before I discovered it, I spent 45 minutes drilling one hole. Also, be sure to spray the concrete and diamond bits with water continually while drilling. These were a lot of work (leveling, spacing, and lots of grout lines to fill), but totally worth it!.
