A classic console silhouette for compact spaces: Essex brings the elegance of a pedestal sink to a lighter, open console form that makes small baths feel spacious. At just 24″ wide, the vitreous-china basin sits on a 31″ metal base with integrated side rails—perfect for hand towels and daily essentials. Built for daily use: Fired with a fine glass glaze, the basin’s vitreous china surface resists staining and wipes clean in seconds. An integrated overflow and center drain deliver dependable performance, while multiple faucet drillings (4″ centerset, 8″ widespread, or single-hole models) let you match your preferred hardware. Installation notes: For the best results, we recommend professional installation. The console legs are designed to be field-cut so the installed height is level and true to your space. so this is a funny review. If you are pairing this with a wall hung porcelain sink then this is a great console. I tried to use it with a heavy marble countertop with an undermount sink and this was not an ideal pairing without the back upper support. I ended up exchanging it BUT it was very nice.. Steph.
