This whimsical porcelain decor tile is going into a secondary bathroom along with the matching mosaic-look tile. Colors are vibrant and true to photos & samples. This was just what I was looking for in actual marble - not ceramics or porcelain. The textured pieces along with the glossy prices (at least on the white carrara version of these tiles) were perfect for my shower floor as the textured tiles have great grip for wet barefeet =). Was very easy to layout - and make final cuts. If you are DIYing like me - take your time - I put on painters tape on the back mesh and face of the tile prior to making my cuts on the harbor freight tile saw. It was on the tape I made my measure marks and slowly made the cuts with little to no chipping - Thank youtube for all the tips! What you see is literally the tile just as I finished grouting and super happy with the results - should be finished with this little project in a few weeks as the shower glass is taking forever to deliver :(. This tile has a terracotta mesh in the background with floral accents all over. It goes nicely along Saltillo floor pavers and its earthy colors combine with a wide range of other home decor accessories. All of our Mexican tiles have an off-white background. DISCLAIMER:All of our Talavera tiles have a heavily hand-made process involved; as such, imperfections are expected. Color variations are to be expected from batch to batch. What you see on your screen might not be exactly what you will get, this is mostly due to several factors, among others: lighting when the picture was taken, lighting in your own monitor, but mostly changes in the glazes used between batches. All these factors are beyond our control. If in doubt, we recommend you to order a sample before committing to a bigger order. This tile has limited outdoors use, we don't recommend its use on temperatures under 40 degrees. It is not frost-proof. It is not suitable for inside pools as the chemicals involved on water cleaning will destroy the clay. Because this item is handmade, slight variations in size may occur.
