So when I hear that one of you my friends was having difficulty taking a shower I ordered this one from Wayfair for her she LOVES it. Well, this is a necessity for some of us elderly or infirmed who need a little help! I have it in my shower as I am unable to stand long enough to shower. It is perfect for what I need!! You can adjust the height to fit your needs, it is sturdy (never wobbles), the seat is wide and comfortable (I am a larger person), and is not too heavy if I want to take it out for some reason (like company using that shower). The "peened", or textured, grab bars add a bit of extra non-slip safety. However I thought I was ordering these in white and the came in the standard silver. I'm not sure if I clicked color and number too quickly, or if the Wayfair site goofed. In the end I returned these (no hassle) and installed white bars without the "peening.". Quizms. Portland, OR. I bought this for my wife's bathtub & shower area. We both need grab bars now. They're essential for seniors. I had my son install the two I bought (this angled one and a matching straight one). He's a plumber and the tub surround is tile so he had the right tools and knew where the studs (recommended) were. He said it did not take him long to install. He remodeled our bathroom. They are very firmly anchored and seem very well made. My wife likes the rubber pads on the backside of the bars. So do I. Strong, will use on side door under carport. Inexpensive Step 6 simply says "Snap on covers." This is not at all as easy as described and I see others have had the same complaint.
