Kaldewei Bathtubs

The tub was as advertised and is very nice. Delivery was horrible - 2 months late (4 months total). No drop gate. Wayfair did not keep me up to date.. Renovator. Ohio. Sun Sep 15 2013

I had a hard time trying to find a drop-in tub to replace our old corner and still retain the same spacing area not to affect the bath vanities. The finish is excellent and enameled steel will make this last a long time. This one did the job perfectly and looks great!. Tien. Houston, TX. Thu Jul 02 2015

Another good product from Kaldewei. Decent brand and fair prices.. Oleksii. New York, NY. Sun May 29 2016

Room for two to stretch and relax. The shape is comfortable (though we will invest in some bath pillows to make it moreso). Kaldewei was recommended by our architect, and now that we're finally able to use the tub we see why.. Jan. Plattsburgh, NY. Sat Jun 04 2016

Tub looks nice and is easy to install, but...I didn't realize how much it narrows down at the base. Also, very difficult to find a drain assembly to fit. Will have to special order on line but Wayfair doesn't seem to have it.. Pam. Kent, WA. Sun Oct 27 2013

Every bath and shower tray by Kaldewei is made from a unique material: Kaldewei enameled steel 3.5 mm. This material thickness provides stability, solidity and durability. This makes Franz Kaldewei GmbH and Co. KG the market leader for baths and shower trays in Germany and Europe. In addition to discerning design of the highest quality, its consistent environmental focus is another cornerstone in Kaldewei's production. It uses only natural materials, steel, and enamel that are one hundred per cent recyclable. Combining function and pleasure in harmony is the guiding principle of our design studios. That is why Kaldewei baths deliberately distance themselves from short-lived trends. The result is bathrooms where the bath is the focal point of the room, a place where the user can experience function and pleasure combined in perfect harmony. Because water touches our body in a way that no other element does, enabling us to escape from everyday life and just relax. Ergonomically designed and with clear, simple structures, our baths offer absolute relaxation.

Arrived on time and is a very sturdy tub!. Christie. Montgomery, TX. Sat Oct 26 2019

Cayono combines uncompromising material properties, exquisite workmanship, and a durable surface finish.

Very strong and durable tub. This is my second Kaldewei tub and they are amazing. This tub is indestructible. Not like the flimsy acrylic tubs that are everywhere.. Fatima. FL. Thu Jun 11 2020

Perfect little modern bath tub. Great price and good quality.. Alexa. East Hampton, NY. Wed Apr 30 2014

If you appreciate purist simplicity and stream lined elegance, you will feel especially at home in the Centro Duo bath. With two identical backrests and centrally placed waste, it's also the right bath for two to enjoy comfortably.

excellent two-person tub. quality material. designed for comfort. 28-inch width makes for a nice shoulder fit. easy to install (remodeling contractor's work crew removed the old tub and installed the new.) delivery was prompt. stored tub on deck a few days while waiting for crew to install. replaced a tub which had a length of 59 inches so lost some 4 inches of space inside the wall to accommodate 63-inch long tub: doable for the work crew.. I have not installed this tub yet but was very disappointed upon receipt for 2 reasons. All pictures show the base as smooth but the tub I received has a non slip finish which is difficult to clean and unattractive. The installation instructions recommend that you install with legs even when installed into a frame however no legs were provided. I spoke with my plumber and he was not comfortable installing it without the legs. I am building a house so could not hold up the process by sending it back and purchasing another tub and anyway the return fee was extremely expensive. I was forced to purchase the legs for an additional cost in order to install as recommended. Most unhappy with this purchase.. Elizabeth. New Market, MD. Wed Aug 10 2016

If you appreciate purist simplicity and streamlined elegance, you will feel especially at home in the Centro Duo oval bath. With two identical backrests and centrally placed waste, it's also the right bath for two to enjoy comfortably.

It's a great bath, BUT it has a very scratchy non-slip finish on the bottom. Who the heck wants to sit in a soaking tub with sandpaper on your tender parts???!!! How STUPID. And for $4,000+ big ones, I'm very displeased. Edited -- Gave it 2 more stars, as it really IS an awesome bath. Apparently, this is by US law that all cast steel tubs must have this non-slip finish. I phoned Kaldewei and they sent me a special stone to rub off the finish a bit. You don't notice it so much when it's full of water, too.. Jennifer. Stamford, CT. Wed Jul 20 2016

Very stylish tub. Love the design !. Tanya. Hollywood, FL. Thu Jun 23 2016

The soft, elliptical inner contour of the Ellipso Duo 74.8031" x 39.37" Freestanding Soaking Bathtub promises a new sense of security and comfort. The rounded shoulder section and carefully calibrated side walls create a generous space in which to lean back and relax, either alone or with a partner. As a freestanding option, the molded panel surrounds the ellipse like a second skin, enhancing the beautiful oval shape.
