This vanity is a beauty and the perfect size for a small bathroom. It's almost black compared to the gray-blue shown in the photo. While the white ceramic top may be durable, it's fussy, and water, as well as other minor household chemicals, leave liquid spots that must be wiped away almost immediately (the photo doesn't pick up the liquid spots). For that reason, I gave it one star less. However, a wet or dry microfiber cloth can moisten the liquid spots and wipe them away. So beautiful and elegant. The marble top appears to be high quality and is uniform in the veining. The form and details on the piece are really exquisite. Extremely well packaged. It arrived in perfect condition. It is quite heavy and cannot be moved without some muscle but that also makes it feel substantial. Update: Although this is a beautiful vanity, upon installation it became obvious that one of the sinks was install backwards. This is an incredible problem because now I need to somehow reengineer the vanity as well as have the installation reversed and recall the plumber to reinstall once the sink is corrected. For this price, I would expect better quality control. The reality of renovation is that items are purchased and await installation and only upon installation can you see all the flaws. I am well out of the return period. UPDATE: Wayfair and the manufacturer provided a reasonable refund. The vanity is gorgeous otherwise and I did not want to return. The money doesn't cover the hassle factor or the full costs with the plumbing and handyman charges but I am satisfied. This vanity is beautiful in pictures and believe it or not even better in person. It's gorgeous. Can't wait to install. Update: Finally got around to installing this vanity and it was pretty difficult for my situation. We have a 24 inch door to the bathroom and had to remove it in order to get the vanity inside. The center part in between the drawers is blocked off from the front and the sides so you have to make all connections from underneath and reaching up through a 10 inch space. We had to take out the back hardboard piece in order to accomodate the water valves and also because the board sticks out just slightly past the top and wouldn't allow to install completely flush against the back wall. I also added a piece of white trim on the bottom where it didn't cover where my tile edge (tile was installed after the old vanity was there). Finally, I changed the drawer handles to chrome. I really don't like to give this a mediocre rating, but it's something I thought long and hard on before doing so. Overall, it's a sturdy vanity. The top is beautiful, nice veining that is very light in color, so not a busy look at all. Fits a standard 3 pc faucet, the sink has a slope to avoid messes. The vanity drawers are deep, and they did a good job with organizers in them to make the most use of the space in each. I think my problem is solely with the finish. I have another vanity in this same brand and finish and yet they are completely different wood tones. The other one is beautiful, looks high end, has a warmth without being red or orange in tone. This one just looks like... well honestly it looks like 70's paneling in color. Not the real wood kind, you know what I'm talking about! Because of that, it doesn't look nice with the top, and it just looks like a dated old vanity. It looks nicer in my photos than in person. I am not certain we will use this. Maybe I will paint it.. This was marked down more than $500 from the original price. Even so, $1000 is nothing to shake a stick at. I was expecting a quality I could live with. Well, that's what I got. My major complaint is that the space between the cabinet and stone top is off so the top is slightly higher on one side. The other fault so far is the screw holes for the handles are not counter sunk, drilled from the front, leaving a splintered rough hole on the inside drawers. And the screws for the handles are so SHORT as to be almost worthless. I'll probably change them. All the other screws are countersunk with a clean finish. And the door is not flush at the very top.
