[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super quiet and the purple light looks really cool too. It processes food very quickly and super quietly. The LEDefense light looks cool and it seems to really work well too. I have put a lot of garlic through it and the light seems to have kept any odor from that at bay. Love that feature, cuz the musty disposal smell was one of the reasons that I had my last disposal ripped out. Because of these extra features, it takes up a bit more room under the sink. But I think it's well worth it!. Jeffreym. Mon Apr 20 2026

The EZ Connect Cord makes it faster and easier to connect a power cord to an InSinkErator EZ Connect garbage disposer. Love this product - most especially the added safety of the magnetic lock to start. I did a ton of research to find the best deal and recieved really quickly. Highly recommend. We got the power kit as well (you need it if plugging in under the sink, could skip up youre hardwiring but definitely check codes in your area). We installed in a new kitchen so had the electrician wire an outlet and a switch under the sink. This way we dont need an air switch on our precious counters and have an added layer of safety if we need it. With the Control Cover activation we could technically leave it switched on all the time but I typically switch it on and off under the sink after every use.. Kelly. Calgary, AB. Wed Mar 17 2021
